Love the fact that a match that didnt have anything to do with City has resulted in the huge number of posts. It's almost asif Liverpool were in your heads!!!
The whole tribalism and increased animosity between our clubs is something that personally disappoints me, but it also amuses me when so many go deep into it.

From my POV and in true Greggery Peccery style, talking about football.... The ref really only made one mistake.
That being the first yellow for Jota. The fact that there are no VAR checks for somethign so seemingly innocuous is perhaps a problem, but with his stupidity of diving in for that challenge so soon after. Well Jota left the ref with no choice.
Jones being sent off. No intent, contact with the ball, but even if his foot "slipped off the top of the ball", that means he was not in full control and with studs up. Well, that is reckless and red card was a cert.
As for the "offisde", well that was given by the assistant and once done then it is down to the VAR officials. Ads has been seen, it was them that made the error, with the ref actually just going along wityh what they said and what his assistant had indicated.

As for the statement and as has been said, I do think it has been very carefully worded. However, I dont see the litigation that so many on here predict going forward. For the simple reason that there is no way you can litigate for simple human error in relation to a football match. I see the wording more as looking to start a process where VAR as it stands is overhauled. The cynic in me when considering FSGs craving for money, makes me wonder if they have a share in the company that did the World Cup VAR system?
The things that are in our heads are the amount of scandalous decisions that go the way of teams in red. I’m not going to Klanfield this season (I’ve been saying that for the last ten years) because I’m sick of paying to see us get screwed. Can we have the game replayed from last season (Foden goal disallowed)? How about the champions league? Cup semi (Alf Gray). Every fucking time v you lot, home and away. One decision against you and it’s world war three. FUCK OFF you fucking victim.

I've just seen Warnock saying on Sky the referee should have stopped the game, gone to the touchline and called the two managers and captains together. He should then explain var has made a mistake so he was going to do a drop ball and Liverpool should be allowed to score from it unopposed. Yes, he actually said this. That utter shite alone should be enough to fuck him off our screens forever.
Had he taken some drugs?

It’s the biggest talking point in football so why shouldn’t there be lots of posts
If any club is in any fans heads it City in thick Scouse ones I’ve heard phones-ins claiming a conspiracy against LFCult in favour of City hilarious Most of them dint even understand the goal was given by VAR you know by the official who had just returned from UAE apparently bribed by Sheikh Mansour You couldn’t make it up, oh you did

How comes they were not questioning with Bowen was brought down for a clear penalty the week before when VAR did not overturn the ref.
I think every single team should now do a Dipper and request audio for when they have poor decisions v them, i hope we will when we have our usual fucked over decision when we play there
Not one for conspiracy theories - But I am just wonder if the red shirts are looking t see VAR binned.

They have had the 'rub of the green' from Ref decisions for decades and VAR will be inconvenient

That booking where his foot came.off the top of the ball was nonsense. How the fuck is a player supposed to do anything about that. As for the VAR and offside. Plenty are talking about it because of the absolutely ridiculous amount of coverage it's been given. One pundit said it was the worst decision he'd ever seen. Ex pro I think. I'm not having that. Worst decision ever.....?????
