Definitely a head scratcher on the timing of the announcement, there's surely much more to this story. My guess is that he's burnt out and things have come to a head. If that's the case I wish him well.

The talk on twitter is that the club have known about it for a couple of months... The announcement today is because they have sorted a deal out with whoever is replacing him and announcement on that is due imminently.

Media darlings all wankin over klopp ,hes bin in peps shadow and failed on every run in against us bar 1 ,in covid year where pep lost his mum, last trophy won was 21/22 season, finnished 6th last season lets not get carried away with what hes done, hes won 4 trophys ,we won 3 last season, not even on same levels, but i guarentee u this, this will get more airtime than when pep leaves,it will actually do us a favour this ,and stop the talkin shite about our club for a bit

Hopefully motivates our players to win the fucking lot again and leave the Scouse cunts only celebrating a fizzy drink final appearance.
The fawning from the media is going to be horrendous over the next few months. There’s even a little bit of it on here.
He will be getting no credit from me, he’s a snide **** who’s gone after us on more than one occasion in the press.
Let the tears flow ya scruffy wrong’uns.

BBC frantically trying to get stories together where the fuck is Stevie G not picking his phone up …right wire Michael Brown up and get him on camera asap pmfsl.

Are yous serious? Have you seen Leverkusen??

So what? They're going well halfway into the season. Arteta did similar last season in a harder league and still has no trophies.

I wouldn't predict someone is going to be Pep levels because they're having a decent season in Germany. Managing in Germany, Holland etc isn't the same as the Premier League. Just ask Ten Hag and he was very successful before.

They are not etched very well in the memory. We finished 25 pts above Liverpool the year we got 100 points, who finished fourth, so not sure they played any role in that and we did not clinch the title on the last day against Southampton, we clinched it weeks earlier.

But your overall point I agree with they have pushed us and made us achieve even greater feats. If Xabi Alonso takes over we might also see better relations between the clubs and a more respectful tone taken towards City. That can only be a good thing as fostering hate is never a positive thing

Do’h you’re right, of course. I remember our feats very well but clearly don’t remember what the fuck Liverpool were doing in 2018.
