Read somewhere that the Guardian is not doing very well. My immediate thought was “good”. Like many of the MSM they have pandered to the cartel clubs and never missed a chance to slag our club off.

But of course it means that people may lose their jobs which is not nice and it’s likely to be the poor people at the bottom who go first out the door

Moral of the tale (I think) is that the MSM is never going to change. It’s out to make money and with few exceptions doesn’t want to (in the sports depts) challenge the status quo. All we can do is not fund them and if enough people do so it hastens their decline.
They actually beg for donations after you have read an article on there…

Wolves could sell Portugal winger Pedro Neto this summer to ensure they do not breach Premier League profit and sustainability rules. Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United are admirers of the 23-year-old. (Sun)

Strange. Wolves may have to sell so they don't breach FFP and/or PSR, and look at the 'admirers'
The four who were responsible for the introduction of those rules.
Talk about looking after your own interests......

McCoist seems to have lost the plot as well. As usual the match was commentated totally from a Copenhagen point of view. I realise that everyone likes an underdog but they kept stressing that Copenhagen had just come back from their winter break and were not fully up to fitness but that is true of most clubs in Europe (outside the PL) and happens every season. Everytime Copenhagen attacked they started shouting. Very strange behaviour.
They had played three freindlies then 3 games in the Atlantic Cup against decent opposition so were well prepared for the game.

That's how utd maintained their position for so long

They out spent their challangerd and then picked off the good players from any new team that did emerge to challenge

But But But But....City, Money, City Money - thats all you hear. If you spend money and fail its not talked about...
Amazed this article was published on the BBC Sports website ?
Some "Apprentice" will be hung, drawn & quartered for this !
It will be withdrawn very quickly and replaced by a photo of local protege, Graham Garnacho...

Laughable the way the media pander the crap about Pep and Ferguson, Pep is by far the better manager and coach and easily stands alone as the greatest ever. He has topped and surpassed anything ferguson achieved, ferguson also had little or no competion, his greatest threat was Wenger!!. For years he had it his own way playing bog standard football of two fast wingers and central midfielders who just ran all day long, that was it and dispite all this Pep has a achieved far more than he ever did, but laughable they still tell us fergie is the benchmark.

Genuine question, would it not be a Quadruple as we’ve already won the World Club Cup? I’ll be honest, I don’t know what counts as what these days!
I think the Super cup competitions (community shield, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup) technically count as an extension of the previous season. So last year we did the quintuple as we won the league, FA, UCL, Super Cup and CWC.

Ferguson's best in 2009 and more so 2011 couldn't live with Pep's Barcelona.
Absolutely schooled.
2011 he just said "what could we have done"?

Has the domestic treble ever been done in this country?

Oh wait a minute....
