The last Chelsea game was as much on Pep as it was the players, and I usually feel wins and losses are much more on the players more often than not. They kept putting players in/around Rodri and exploiting those half spaces, and I don't think Pep adjusted to it until the 80th minute or so. I'd sit one of Bernardo or Kovacic, or even Nunes next to Rodri. I rate Palmer much higher than most seem to(or at least admit to), so if we shut him down, we shut much of Chelsea's attack down IMO.

Ederson
Akanji Stones Dias Ake
Bernardo Rodri
Foden KDB Bobb
Haaland

If he doesn't park the bus we will blow their doors off...that exchanging chances plan will not work with one Kevin DeBruyne on the pitch...
Don’t think it is in his nature to pack the defence, we certainly have the players to put them to the sword. Hopefully our defence will perform better than earlier in the season

Foden on the wing then? Imagine him in his best position!

It's wishful thinking to put him as an attacking midfielder at this point. As long as KDB is playing there before him rather than Alvarez, it's easier to accept.

Possibly the most influential player of the Pep era. There are now plenty of keepers that can do what he does, but they were like rocking horse shit when he signed for us in 2017.
Can do it but nowhere near the standard of Eddie. He is the best there has ever been with his feet.

Four year old grandson's first ever match. His mum and dad nick our 'posh' (that is, dry) seats in 327 whilst me and the missus are going to get absolutely soaked at the front of 111. Cold Palmer better not be celebrating their winner just in front of us

We obviously need Walker for his recovery pace. However he will be uncomfortable against Sterling. He can certainly match his pace but has trouble when he is being turned. I hope Sterling is on the bench. The other Chelsea wide men he can handle. I hope Karl proves me wrong if Sterling plays.

Anyone intending to travel home on the 20:15 Piccadilly to London Euston train after the match today, it has been cancelled. Now no trains after the match.

Toughest game of the season so far. Chelsea will start their push for a CL place today. Palmer and Sterling will be right up for it and as Blues we know Raheem turns up big time against his previous clubs. We're still finding our way against the 'big six'.

I'd take 1-1 right now and move onto the next game.
