Biggest problem yesterday was the midfield, or lack of it and yet most people are picking teams for thus that give us the same problem. Kovacic or Bernardo has to play central next to rodri, I'd go with kovacic just to make sure Bernardo's fully fit for the upcoming games

give Walker a game off. have Alvarez on bench that if need refreshing the team at 60 min mark vs a tiring defence he can come on and cause panic.

give Rodri some proper help in midfield to track some Brentford runners. KDb aint tracking back much, neither Alvarez or Foden,

if Pep wants offensive fullbacks use Gomez and Lewis.

we have to manage Brentford and Bournemouth next week, cannot afford any slip, even KDB cannot play 2x 90 mins in these, we have to manage these games in a clever way.

They caused us a lot of problems from set pieces at theirs so need to avoid giving cheap free kicks away, which isnt easy when every touch by us results in a dive and instant free kick.
We need to start putting some of our chances away though, atm is dominate, miss chance after chance, opposition then get more confident due to this, score with 1st shot and we then have to come from behind. Be nice to put our chances away in the 1st half

I fancy the mind set will be quite the opposite. They wouldn't have been able to cope with the 100mph boot the ball over the top game plan of Liverpool. We'll give them plenty of time to regroup and leave Eddie playing Aunt Sally and generally take it at a much slower game than the whirlwind they might have had.

I just hope we speed up the game and make the pass that eventually arrives but without the couple of three touches we have been getting lately.
