Wirtz is undeniably brilliant, but if we’re to improve our team/squad to the maximum, there are other priorities considering we literally already have Phil Foden. I don’t think Wirtz will happen for us. Paqueta and a winger (Neto seems to be the one) makes more sense. Foden and KDB for the advanced creativity in the centre, Paqueta and Rodri are both creative from deeper. Then actual winger options out wide, with Savio presumably out to Girona for one more year since he’s only 19. That improves us more than signing Wirtz and playing Foden from the right forever. That’s just more of the same.

My biggest concern would be him doing a "Havertz", suffering from PL's physical (wrestling) play and MUCH tighter defences than both of them used to have in Bundesliga matches.

Done his ACl aged 19.
Players like him and Musiala are class in Germany but I'd be careful with PL footy.
We will see what both can offer in EURO matches come summer...

Paqueta and Neto would he superb - if they have the top attitude Pep wants.

£111m or so. Tolmie reported 87,5, but that was a few months ago. Maybe we could get it done for 100m + bonuses.

Champions of Germany and Champions League next year not sure they would want or need to sell him.

Also not convinces Alonso would leave at this time, plenty of time to get his move to the "big" boys in the future.
