Maybe, but that’s not what wright is doing there imo and don’t really think he deserves stick for really saying what most of us want to happen.
I agree with you, I think he's right in what he's saying too. My comment was just my opinion that the fallout will never be forgotten. Mud sticks.

“Shambolic” Premier League - Media Reports

According to reports, the "shambolic" Premier League is under significant pressure after failing to deliver on its long-awaited new £900 million football support system as clubs instead prioritise reform to their own spending rules.

It is understandable that the PL prefers to prioritise reform to its spending rules before deciding what `deal` it wishes to agree with the EFL.

The irony is that Liverpool fan, Rick Parry, one of the original instigators of the PL, acting in effect for the redtops, and CEO of LFC for many years, was instrumental in the break from the football leagues and for exacerbating the disparities. Now Parry is on the other side at the EFL as Chairman, trying to get more money out of the PL. Before this he was meddling at UEFA.

The redtops have made a hash of this for all to see. They introduced new `rules`, which did not exist when they were exploiting the PL, in order to stymie competition. They appointed Man U supporter Alison Brittain as Chair of the PL. LFC and MUFC ensued that puppet Masters got the CEO job at the PL after better qualified candidates withdrew because they anticipated the forthcoming mess due to the vested and undue influence of the redtops. Now it is unravelling.

Money circulating throughout the game is drying up; the last transfer window saw little activity; other clubs are being hindered in their growth and development; punishments are being handed out mid season and then changed mid season !

The unholy redtops alliance plus Spurs, who last won the topflight division in 1961, have created tiresome, ongoing division within football. Their self interest and self protection overrides everything.
And the elephant in the room is..............American owners !!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I agree. Don't think he really said anything untoward tbh.

I couldn’t be bothered to go through the inevitable rows to say it last night when people were frothing at the mouth and posting “IWIAFC” etc but everything he said was right. That’s why the stakes are so high in the hearing.

Peps reputation is also going to take a hammering if it turns out Barcelona were paying millions to exert influence on referees throughout his tenure in the Negreira case.

It’s not really fair, he can’t do anything about it, but it’s ridiculous to suggest one of the 2 teams being found guilty of bribing officials wouldn’t change how people view that Barca side, and the same is true for City.

I also think as a fanbase we need to engage more with the idea that the huge delays and drawn out length of this process is not fair on us City fans as much as it’s not fair on any other club.

Fucking BBC, instead of adding a footnote just don’t allow the post:

Maybe it doesn't break their house rules. You know the rules that are like a swing, slag City off, ok, slag the red tops and that breaks house rules. Throwing soft balls at tin cans on Blackpool pleasure beach has more integrity.

Well there at it again yet another cartel lead set of finance rules being rolled out ....like anyone understands the current ones .
These basically say your OK if you finish top 4 or 6 but if you don't you have to bow to not being able to spend anymore to get there, effectively fooking Newcastle.
Durry on sky already saying its to late with City "That horse has bolted" in other words we missed them.
I'm convinced the 115 charges were manipulated purely to undermine our successes and dominance, and the MSM has lapped it up.
It just happens that they are owned by the same cartel.
Think we may get some silverware this year may fall a little short of another treble ....but he ho we keep going
Come on City
City is more than a club -:)

On the subject of the BBC football "have your say"
Do you think Liverpool employ a team of people who sole job is to respond in these open forums or are they just the general fan who has fuck all better to do other than drive the good for dippers and bad for everyone else.
I know the easy answer is the latter but there is value in overpowering the narrative in your favor at very little cost.
It then comes under the banner that if you say it often enough then it must be true.
If it's the former then city needs to get their own rather than rely on bluemoon members fighting our corner.

No I think they just attract them.

Any Liverpool fan who complains about being called a victim after how they’ve behaved in the last few days is beyond help.

Making up rules to stop city is completely unfair.

Ian wright nor any other media personality has no grounds to call out MCFC on Sky broadcast.

If you see nothing wrong with that then answer me why no one is calling out Everton? Instead they get sympathy.

United’s debt? Nothing again.

Liverpool & United hiring the premier chief?

Investigate hacking?

Investigate why Liverpool dodged ffp?

Chelsea’s problems with Roman? Now with Todd!

American owners treated differently to Muslim owners? No on speaks about this either.

The corrupt list is endless but never investigated nor spoken about on Sky!

I don’t see Carragher or Neville or fucking Ian wright calling out these issues on TV.

So if they can’t call everyone out on every dodgy dealing that has transpired at every single club, they have no right to call out city.

It’s a constant attack to dehumanise city and our achievements on every level.

Pep is above reproach. Ffs the lies are now infecting city fans. Job done.

I am all up for an honest debate about the state of football finance but only in a fair arena which Sky are not. BBC are supposed to be but are not either.

The BBC has consistently reported our financial cases with UEFA and the PL in a totally biased way on all their channels. No attempt at balance just regurgitated conspiracy theories with no evidence presented.Virtually no mention of us being cleared of the UEFA allegations by three independent judges. I realise City have been unable to speak out publically but it would be very easy for the BBC to talk to someone like Stefan or Kieran Maguire for an independent and balanced version of this story. Despite our Chief Exec publically stating we have "overwhelming proof of our innocence" there has been no serious attempt to present our side of the story. Yet the claims of provenly corrupt people at UEFA, La Liga boss Tebas, and a convicted blackmailer Rui Pinto, are reported as if they are facts. As taxpayers we deserve better from our national public broadcaster.
Not ideal for the point, but I have spoken to the BBC incl. Dan Roan/his producer (and other BBC presenters) but in the end diaries didn't allow it to work and the story moved on. Door not closed there.
