Was all worth it in the end, I’ve posted before, no idea who this lad was but his expression summed it up for me.
Why didn't the media hold us up as an example of how to behave in Europe. We could shame all other clubs behaviour and be seen as the poster boys in how to conduct yourself in Europe. But of course that wouldn't serve any purpose as fans going on the rampage sells more papers

Think Alonso staying on another season is because he is a) happy and content at Leverkusen and b) doesn't want to upset the cult choosing another club over them.

Finally Bayern won't poach the star player or manager of the team that beat them to the title, at least not for now.

The thought has crossed my mind that Alonso might just be weighing up the possibility of hanging around on the Rhein until Pep has won a couple more CLs, and is ready to retire. Oh, how that would boil more Dipper piss than water flowing past Pierhead every ten years. The RDAHMeedya would be going from 'the chosen one' to a 'prodigal one'!

Thing with them is they always think they are the preferred destination for all the talent and once there no-one with talent will ever want to leave - weirdo's

Now then...not a bad shout

Them portraying themselves as the net spend martyrs, is if starting to back fire on potential managers who will go there? Why would Alonso go spend time at Liverpool for his important next step as a manager when there are clubs out there such as City, Madrid and Bayern who back their managers in recruiting players and provide the tools to be successful. Liverpool don’t do this and might not be so lucky in performance output as what they have with Klopp.

Going to have a big pot from the sale of Salah.
