PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Chelsea will have a case to answer next season and unless they come up with some incredible transfer income they are in very serious doo doo.
Chelsea have three issues to contend with and the one you reference is indeed for next season but the other two are potentially far more serious:

The new owners have reported potential issues with previous years accounts. Although they are from the Abramovich era it will be the club that receive any punishment. You'd assume there could be some mitigation though.

The Guardian have an ongoing investigation into disguised owner investment by Abramovich involving millions going to club employees, players and agents. Essentially a mirror of what we've been charged with

Finally, it is almost certain that they will fail PSR for 2023-24 by a huge margin. They need to raise way over 100 mill net profit on player sales by June 30th this year.

Stefan discussed this with same outcome on TS a few weeks back. Basically they can't get out of it as the players they would need to sell (i.e. the ones in their prime) would not go to the only clubs that would be willing to pay the required over inflated prices for them (i.e. Saudis). FFP and PSR means that most other European clubs would be priced out of what Chelsea would need to get for them

Not a problem according to a Chelsea fan on Stefan's Twitter. All they need to do is sell six players to Saudi by June 30th. He reckoned Stefan was a prick! His reply was very funny.

I wonder if the PL can name any equivalent body that has an arbitration system where:
1. The governing body get to pick a member but the other party does not.
2. The governing body’s pick gets to pick all the members of the panel.
3. There is no appeal except to itself or to a court only in the most narrow of circumstances.
Justice not seen to be done.

They're not independent. What verdict do you come up with if your job depends on you saying guilty? Just be prepared for relegation punishment, absolute uproar followed by a public hearing of some kind via new government administrators.
The only absolute uproar is the one in your head mate.
