Akanji Dias Stones Gvardiol apparently
I really like and rate Gvardiol but there is something about him which makes me feel nervous. He doesn't seem very flexible in that he runs with a really straight back and runs a bit robotically, but I do think he a great buy. If he plays tonight he will hopefully prove what a great player he is.

I hope and pray we can either win, draw or lose by only one goal.

Preference is obviously in that order but I think any of the above will mean we stand an excellent chance of progressing. A two goal deficit is doable to recover but beyond that is a long stretch...

Come on you Blues!!
Pretty much my view as well. At the very worst, a two goal defeat. Any worse than that, and I don't think it'll be retrievable.

One of the best City performances I remember in my 50+ years watching us. Arguably a better (given the stage) display than the sick swan. Though I'm guessing there might be a few (dozen) who'll disagree with me.
The 1-6, whilst great, did include a red card at 0-1 and three last-minute goals. Overall I put last year's semi-final second leg at the top of the tree. The second half was very good, but the first half was like nothing I've ever seen before or since. It was 45 minutes of football from another planet.

Needless to say I'd take 1-1 right now however this time I'm serious. I'd take only conceding 1.

Zero pace at LB is a massive worry.

Gvardiol is quicker than Ake though.

Ake ie great for us and his positioning and intelligence makes him a very good defender but he's not blessed with pace. I reckon Gvardiol is a little quicker.
