Can't help wondering if the Netflix documentary has demoralized both teams.
Being released when it was seemed odd and plenty of us questioning why now.
Perhaps it was intentional to get in their heads at a crucial time of the season while the added boost of making our players feel invincible.
Far fetched as it sounds nothing is left uncovered by Pep and the team.
Can't imagine other club's fans watching but player's who live and breath football will and I can't imagine a club instructing players that they must not watch it.
Propaganda is a powerful tool and used time and time again to gain an advantage.
Just ask yourself if you felt more confident that City could still win it all after watching the documentary, I know I did.
thats a great point mate,if it was delayed for the reason to spur the players on then thats very very clever marketing from the club, something that would never enter the head of 99% of people, and were worried over the 115 our owners most likely put that to bed a decade ago

I assume you mean Arsenal could still win if we win 5 and draw 1?

Just because if they do that, we could lose against Spurs (assuming Liverpool fuck up again) and still have breathing room.

Yes probably getting a bit ahead but Arsenals goal difference is a bit of a worry (minimum of 6 difference and 5 games in which to do something).

Feel with Liverpool we will stay ahead on GD so a slight bit of breathing space.

As horrible as it would be, I would absolutely love to win the league against Liverpool on GD, something ridiculous like 1 goal or same GD but we scored 1 more goal.

Are the Premier League getting 5 Champions League places next season ?
Odds are still in favour of England, so it could be a dead rubber for Spurs anyway but we'll know more after the quarters and semi finals, which will be concluded before we play Spurs.

Germany will probably be favourites for the 5 spots if:
Leverkusen knock West Ham out - Likely.
Bayern knock Arsenal out - 60/40 Bayern's favours.
Atalanta knock Liverpool out - Likely but not ruling Liverpool out.

If all that happens, I think Villa would need to win the UECL and we'd need to win the UCL for England to get 5 spots.

Ah yes if Arsenal are perfect then we'd probably have to win all 6. Looking at their fixtures though, I think they could drop plenty more points.

i think both will drop points and us included, it depends on what points are dropped a draw or a loss,at the moment should we draw and liverpool win on the same matchday we would most likely stay above them as we have a higher goals scored, arsenal is the one because they have the higher GA but i think there dropped points will be losing

We've just cut the goal difference by 50% in one match

We made up 6 goals this weekend - given arsenals games and ours that can very rapidly swing

It’s been an absolutely brilliant day for us, but think all three teams will still drop points so not getting carried away yet. Feels like a big momentum shift in our favour though.
Liverpool and Arsenal are surely drinking in last chance saloon though -
Drop any more and a 4-5 point swing seems very unlikely

I am preparing to watch match of the day and a Northern Irish prick introduced it saying you can just hear the celebration from Stockport. I hope the person who said that dies.
I don’t wish him death, but I do wish him out of work, and fast.
Unprofessionalism.
Who needs a fucking announcer on tv anyway? Just play the show ffs. It’s the definition of a pointless, needless job.

Don't think there's a scrap of pressure on us having to play after these two play twice now. We could put ourselves in a European semi and an FA cup final and these two are not battling to keep their season alive every game. I don't think either are out of it but if they drop points again I really do think they are.
Plenty of swings and roundabouts yet mate, any one of the 3 can win even if they drop more points, I mean suppose Rodri got a bad injury on Wednesday.

I'm surprised the bent referees I've read about on here allowed these two red tops to lose at this critical stage though, it's almost as if they aren't bent after all. :)

I just got up here in 'Straya and couldn't believe they both lost, maybe the Gods are with us !!!

He's overhyped in my opinion

He's a good tidy little player no doubt, but for this supposed brilliant playmaker he only managed 1 more assists than Haaland last season, a player supposedly useless outside of tap ins.

He's on the same amount of assists as KDB this season, a player who missed pretty much most of the season...and again only one ahead of League Two Erling. Also behind Phil, Rodders, Julian.

Stats aren't everything of course but hes their main playmaker, you would expect more assists from his position.

He does some things well, I just don't think he's quite as good as is made out.
He’d be amazing in our side - imho

Strength/Power of KDB and the eye of a pass of D.Silva -
Not the finished product but I’d love to have him in our side

We should win our next four, and the sixth, if we do, then it's ours imho, but we probably won't be top this time next week.

The next 4 league games for us are key though, 12 points will make it very difficult for the others, and they definitely have the more difficult games overall.
