I enjoyed a lot of these lads when they were playing but when they go into commentary or the media, you expect them to be knowledgeable, informative and impartial.
Wright and Jenas were not that tonight on MOTD, quite the opposite.

The bitterness is spreading, and the bias among pundits and co-commentators isn't even hidden anymore, Wright saying City's first pen was the worse he's ever seen after watching Arsenal get one that was won by a player dragging his leg across a goalie and diving is a complete embarrassment.

Correct but to bring GD in to play we have to either draw or lose a game.
They have more goals than us so we have to pull back 7 goals over 2 matches.
Even if arsenal win those games by only one nil we then have to win two games by a 9 goal difference.
Not happening.

A 4-0 win at Fulham and an Arsenal 2-0 defeat at the swamp would leave the goals position thus:

• City = F91, A33, GD58
• Arse = F88, A30, GD58

So still possible if only a long shot.

I did like Bony to be fair as he did make a small contribution although he was an extremely limited footballer. Navas was good and the same goes for Lescott.

The point is though that they were his three favourite ever City players, whilst he hated (and still does) some of our world class players.

Bony was really bordering shite but Navas wasn't. Navas did chip in when needed especially in 2013-14.

It would be acceptable on Sky as it's private sector. It isn't in the BBC as it is the public sector. Even as a joke it is not acceptable.

Any opinion he has on any incident in our games are totally worthless as he has his biased Arsenal hat on rather than that of an impartial pundit.

Did they comment on the Havertz “penalty”.

Robbie Mostoe on NBC said that was a penalty “because there was contact” but that the Gvardiol penalty was “very soft” and he didn’t “think those should be penalties”.

A pleasantly stress free visit to the Etihad. Thought Wolves might be trickier than that.

Erl got some space and threatened to do some serious damage (like 4 isn’t serious…).

The boys can still play better than that and they really need to find four big performances to bring it on home.

Some games are suited to Erling and some aren’t. It’s good that we can be effective without him in certain situations

I honestly think Erling should start most games (70%) but there are teams that defend him better and we’d be better suited to starting with Julian. Not sure if Pep realizes this yet [emoji15]

I also think Erling benefits from being fresh.

Just got back from the match. Haven't seen the Arsenal penalty. But I must admit I thought we were a wee bit lucky to get the Gvardiol one.
Don't think it made any difference to the outcome though.
