The Northern Lights

Best home record against the worst away record. What could possibly go wrong?
Into injury time and I thought we might never win the PL, as the Royle curse of Cityitis seemed to be coming true again. In fact, so disappointed was I that I almost left before the end and I’ve only ever done that once before, away at QPR, when we were 3-0 down with 15 minutes to go and we lost 4-0.
Thankfully my 15 year old son talked me down and the rest, as they say, is history.
What a blinding team we’ve got though, whatever happens in the next 2 weeks..
The best thing we have is realism. We know we’re on for a massive high or massive low.

Yet we’re not all over social media being over emotionally shouty about it.

What will be will be and we all trust this team at the moment.

Where I am both Thursday and Friday were bright sunny days with clear blue skies. On both occasions the clouds rolled in at dusk removing any chance of seeing Aurora. Serves me right for living in Yerkershire.

I live near Seattle Washington. Friday night I blew off trying to see the lights because forecasts were that Saturday was going to be better. Unfortunately, forecasts were wrong - no auroras were visible at all where I live Saturday evening. It seems I missed out.
