Clear as a bell here today, so we’re going to head to the lakefront and stare across towards Canada for a while tonight. Hopefully we’ll see something.

Mrs 85mcfc has just text me to say she wants to drive somewhere tonight to see if we can get a good view of them.

I'm sure there are plenty of people on here far more intelligent than me that might be able to give me a few ideas? Or is the Mrs pulling my leg...

Not seeing many pics from the UK yet but webcams across Europe are lighting up pink from aurora!!

Same here. It’s luck of the draw to a certain extent. it’s far more likely than normal tonight, but it doesn’t guarantee they’ll definitely appear.

Really hope you get to see then if you’re staying up.

It’s a beautiful night, few drinks and just sat here enjoying the warmish atmosphere, either way it’s good.
