Interestingly football focus was actually complimentary. Shay Given added that Romero should have got a straight red for the assault on Ederson
On an aside just had an advert of FF and I wondered who is the Mbappe doccumentary for?

Never played here, doesn't play for amy of the national teams.

bbc spending money on nothing imho

Pep has rebuilt the team about four times now , losing the best players ever to grace the prem but he gets no credit what so ever , never have they said we are in transistion like other teams , they hate us so much pep doesnt get credit for anything , it really is sad , as young journos did they ever think they would be lowered to clickbait and slagging off one of the biggest products in the country, i feel sorry for the young, enthusiastic kids they were

Don't care what they think. I do care what they encourage others to think though.
Most of the posters on any article regarding the charges aren't capable of putting their feet in the right end of a sock without help. It makes me wonder what those responsible for these article honestly think of the utter loons that voice their opinions. They must read some if only out of curiosity and I don't understand how could any serious journo be proud of creating such hatred and bile towards any club.

Skysports, talksport, the mail and the mirrors global reach is miniscule and in the stratosphere that city operate in amounts to nothing than a gnat on an elephants arse.

Espn and fox make skysports look like talksports and nobody in the us, china etc neither know nor care who simon jordan, de looney, harris are, ive said before the media in this country essentially operate in a vacuum of idiots recycling the same old shit to other idiots who want to believe, on a global scale which is where city they are exactly what we think they are which is nothing.

Globally the club is doing very well and the viewing figures prove that.

It's the UK (dominated by utd and liverpool fanzine writers/pundits) that we're getting a kicking and the club need to get ahead of it.

Playing the long game is very admirable but it means this group of players isn't getting the recognition they deserve.

Far right GB News should never be taken seriously by anybody ever. Or watched.

I imagine the coverage is mixed. We're owned by billionaires so a great example of investment with public and private partnerships working together to provide value to the community. We're also owned by Arabs which is an example of Broken Britain and the cultural take over of the British mainland.

I wonder which rhetoric wins.

We may not be respected but we're definitely feared and I know which one is more useful to be in sporting scenarios.

They can keep their praise for the rest of the gibbons. The fact is that the overwhelming emotion about City from the media and other fans of one of fear. We're going to dominate, we can buy anyone, it's a farmers league, we have access to money they don't - the psychology behind all of these thoughts is the psychology of fear. They're petrified of us now, and in the long term.

Let them write what they want.

Sign of the times. Lots of people, and not just from overseas, follow players and not clubs. It's the influence of social media.

Yes, Shay Given is probably City's biggest supporter within the BBC pundits ?
Don't rate Micah and Nedum doesn't seem to get the prime time gigs.
The Romero challenge has mysteriously been airbrushed. It wasn't even discussed immediately after the match ?
God knows what will happen on MOTD tomorrow night if City don't win on Sunday ?
Does VE Day ring a bell

Nedum just been on 5live with that bellend Simon Stone. Done a decent job sticking up for us.

Youd have to ask the question at this point what is the point of traditional media, what purpose do they serve, everybody can connect directly with their audience if they need to there is no need for the middle man that is the media, on top of that all sportspeople are media trained so all say the pr viewpoint anyway.

Take this weekend all the press reporting that west ham are going to do everything to beat man city like its some big revelation , what did you expect moyes to say nah we're done with this season sorry about that, he's said what he was supposed to just like postecoglu did, i genuinely do not see what purpose they serve apart from to fill space.

To be fair, I didn't have much of a problem with Romero's challenge. It was a 50/50 ball, in my opinion. If it was at the other end, in the last 5 minutes, and Haaland pulled out of the challenge, he'd have been slaughtered on here. Just as Romero would have been on social media if he had pulled out of it. "See; Spurs aren't trying. City have paid them off". And I also don't think he intended to do Ederson.

If it was anyone but him id agree with u, but he is one nasty little fucker

Some reasonably fair coverage of City around at present but what’s disappointing is that our 100 points & domestic clean sweep of trophies never gets the recognition they deserve. Like they never happened. Cunts.
Yes, but you are forgetting that it was tainted by the disrespect shown to Watford therefore doesn't count

Sky can't show the incident as it's too "graphic" for our viewers, meanwhile it's a good time to remind you that on Sky Box Office two old heavyweights past their prime, punch each other out in Abu-Dhabi on Saturday night, tune in fight fans.

Talk like that will make you big money signing for RAWK.
More like a free transfer.
They'd have "mental health issues" or be an ex-employee with an axe to grind etc, etc.
(As an aside, from someone who suffers severe bouts of depression I'm fecking sick of hearing that phrase attached to anyone who commits an atrocity)
St Johns wort, done me proud for 25 years pal, and no side effects as per the big pharma equivalent.
