The narrative will never change. The “115 charges” was a deliberate soundbite. That’s why the PL split up the six central allegations into small chunks. The PL leadership have used the media as a weapon to give them leverage in ongoing legal discussions. But it has backfired on them because Masters and his pals have no way out now and I don’t believe they have any evidence of wrongdoing either.

How often have you come across the term 'dirty oil money'? Why is it dirty? Oil is legal, and indeed a necessary part of modern life. Even if you stopped using it for traction, it would still be needed for 1001 other purposes.

Why not 'dirty money-laundering money'? Because that does not fit the narrative. How about 'dirty gambling money'? Gambling does far more damage to society than oil.

Then there's 'Arab money' as though it's inherently wicked. Can you imagine someone talking about 'Jewish money'? Of course not! There'd be outrage, and rightly so. But there's no difference and that shows up the hypocrisy and the racism involved.
