I’d you didn’t know it was a football reference, the term “super whites” plastered on a car is very strange.

About 10 girls from my office were sexually assaulted walking through Manchester on their lunch break, hours before the defeat. Glass bottles were thrown at our windows. People were shitting and pissing in the streets. This is all before it properly kicked off.
Its was fucking horrible and not a tiny minority at all

I can’t get an accurate figure but if 100 were arrested then that’s not a significant number.

I was out in town for my birthday that night, there were thousands of them at it. 100 arrests just says to me a lot avoided getting arrested, including the ones who sexually assaulted my staff

My wife at the time (now ex), was heavily pregnant at the time. She had been in a restaurant for lunch and came outside with no idea what was going on. She was getting crushed in a huge crowd of Gers fans and becoming very frightened. A group of Gers fans surrounded her and protected her, and escorted her all the way back to Piccadilly station.
 
Joined a local golf course yesterday and the Pro is an Everton fan... Had a chat about football and he said that he and his Everton mates had always had a soft spot for our club... Who knew? Certainly not me

Maybe it was all part of the sales pitch ;-)

To be honest I have pals who are Rangers (and Celtic) fans and I was in Manchester that night. It was a full-blown riot involving thousands of people at many locations. The fact the police only arrested 100 shows you how bad the policing was. I wouldn't condemn all Rangers fans and the trouble was caused mostly by non match-goers. In the interests of balance the Celtic fans were also terrible in Manchester and songs about Manchester being bombed and terrorist victim Lee Rigby could have caused another riot if the City fans had not been so passive.
