It's ironic, though, that NH is taking umbrage with someone who is unqualified to comment on financial and legal matters, given that's been his MO for at least a decade now.
Never knew he had COPD but if that's the case I'm all for your suggestion.I know this is counter productive, but can we stop giving oxygen to Harris, or at least start a separate thread about the twat?
Capone eh?

The tone towards city fans on X is exactly the same. The way threads are numbered are the same. Magic was absent the whole day Nick was driving to Wembley to see the Saints. We post on here we think it's Harris and then literally half a day later an argument between the two cones out of nowhere. Going to be ab great summer watching this fallout.
I agreeGreat thread and the audit aspect is something I've briefly mentioned on here a few times.
I'd also add that it's likely the first phone call Soriano/ Khaldoon took after the Der Spiegel leaks was with BDO audit partner, who would have sought assurances over the integrity of the accounting items implicated in the leaks.
If those assurances, which I expect comprised verbal, written and third party documentation, were not obtained, BDO would have resigned.
The fact that BDO remains the club's auditor six years after the leaks gives me great comfort.
I don't know if it's true or not, but the idea of Harris sitting in his room at night pretending to have an argument with his alter ego about which is the biggest tosser is funny as fuck. One step from the asylum. And well deserved too. What are the odds on two people being up at 12.51am at the same time? Even in conflicting time zones, when one is more likely to be wanting their bed and the other is having his dinner?
I think i read somewhere he was heavily into criminology. From a paper some years ago about the trial
It was almost as "popular" as the OJ Simpson trial
"There have been times over the last three weeks when No. 1 Court at the Old Bailey has seemed more like a theatre than a court of law.
Three long benches in the well of the court, offering the best view of the proceedings, became a sort of Royal Box, reserved for VIPs and visiting dignitaries, most of whom had nothing to do with the case and just wanted to give the family an unusual day out.
A succession of well-groomed middle-aged women with Harrods carrier bags and winter suntans sat there with their daughters or their best friends from 10.30 in the morning until the curtain fell at 4 in the afternoon.
There were free seats for the manager of the hotel where the Yorkshire police were staying, for MPs, councillors, sundry lawyers with their children, the Arsenal goalkeeper Pat Jennings, and for three men who were commended in another court for tackling a bank robber"
Good point. At the current rate of progress, I will be long gone before we get a verdict. Another birthday tomorrow which I can hardly believe. I will be twenty six again, in my head anyway.I wont have to convince the tax man of anything, I'll be dead
Have a good one youngster.Good point. At the current rate of progress, I will be long gone before we get a verdict. Another birthday tomorrow which I can hardly believe. I will be twenty six again, in my head anyway.
I protested to the panel and told them to get a move on.

Harris's sniping in that podcast about the stadium naming rights deal being overvalued was ridiculous (particularly given the relatively small sums being discussed). Etihad could be paying double and it would still have worked out as an incredible deal for them.Fair market value has always been a bug bear of mine because its entirely unworkable as a concept, no outside entity can decide the market value as the market sets the value and thats the way its always been and always will be, as you said if someone offers you over what is considered to be market value you arent not going to take it because to that person its worth 500 quid and that therefore is its value

I've also never understood what business it is of anyone in England to know where Etihad's funding for those deals came from.
Well yes - debt iimits what they can spend - but from next season (2025/26) 30% of income can't be spent on new players and wages (rather than 10% this season), so most Utd debt stops being such an issue for them as team spending wont be affected by their high level of debt. Whilst hamstringing clubs with a lot less debt as they cant spend extra money on the squad.Question ..rags debt ,does the payments they make on it get calculated into fair play . As its an out going expenditure ..just curious ..
"5 of yours vs 5 of mine!"Don't forget that Harris also wanted Rabin's details as well
It’s depressing isn’t it, but they’re never going to let go of this until they absolutely have to. When City are exonerated, hopefully in clear and unambiguous terms, it will be a turning point. Some of the “115” “Man Cheaty” bollocks will definitely continue for a while but it will dwindle to just a hard core of mard arses who will look increasingly loopy. Can’t come soon enough. The replies to the post show you that it doesn't matter how much evidence we have of our innocence and how unlikely it is we have done what we are being accused of, opposition fans are desperate for City to be punished and shifted out of the way. They are desperate and broken and will never believe anything than what they have been fed by the media. Anyway fuck em all.
Loser 115 push ups.?"5 of yours vs 5 of mine!"
