The Everton case is very simple, in that they have posted a loss well in excess of the limit. You can liken it to getting a penalty off the bank for exceeding your overdraft limit. Our case is hugely complex by comparison, it is multiple years and multi jurisdictional, and as we know has only ever been brought because of pressure from the history clubs. There is little or no comparison between the two cases. Everton will still stay up anyway.
