Returned to training this morning, apparently.
So in his perpetual cycle, he’ll be injured again tomorrow, fit for Saturday and miss the game on Sunday.Returned to training this morning, apparently.

Eh? Maguire's not in the squad?John Boy is back so the reports that he wasn't injured was just ill were correct.
Now there might be some proper football from the England team. They've got their best player up and running. ;-) :-)

What the fuck do you expect of Southgate. He is entitled to play his main CD for every important minute of what is a major tournament. Are you suggesting he leaves him on the bench for example against Serbia? Or maybe rest him for the QF?Not asking for much based upon his usual history with Southgate :)

Why does everyone bang on about “two meaningless friendlies”??
They are not meaningless for the ENG squad are they, they have practically zero time together as a team. Kyle Walker, sex pest in chief, spoke very well about this on the radio.
Because when you have missed a vast majority of the season for your club side who at the end of the day pay your wages, you need to get your priorities right! Why does everyone bang on about “two meaningless friendlies”??

As said earlier a fit John Stones is England's best defender by a long way, he does not need to prove that to anyone, particularly Southgate.
Absolutely right, but if Slabhead had been truly available would he be the one partnering Guehi?Thought he had 2 dodgy moments and looked slightly short of full sharpness and is still our most composed player and did what he had to do. He's pure quality.
