Glastonbury 2024

Really enjoyed Jessie Ware probably as it takes me back to the Sunday in Istanbul

Why no sign of Squeeze on iplayer?

Why BBC iPlayer is not showing all Glastonbury performances yet

Speaking to Newsquest, the BBC explained that performances from Kasabian, Keane and Squeeze were available to watch live on BBC iPlayer and are going to be “available on demand soon”.

Glastonbury is always a huge music event with countless acts performing across the different stages and this has meant that some performances haven’t been made available to watch on demand straight away on BBC iPlayer.

With more than 90 sets being made available on demand for those watching on BBC iPlayer, the BBC explained that sometimes there is variation between the times performances take place and when they become available to watch on demand.

There must be some pretty good bands or artists that haven't headlined surely?
Honestly, there aren't really a lot of great new bands around. Certainly not ones with a wide appeal. That's probably why we're seeing more electronic, hip hop and R&B headliners. I really like Fontaines DC, but there's no way they're big enough to headline.

Modern R&B the death of music.

Glastonbury has become my favourite festival these last few years.

I’ve never been and have no interest whatsoever in any of the bands.

But the increasing number of people its very existence seems to annoy year on year, makes it my number one

Just another example of the increased levels of division and piss-boiling which we see.

I know it's bizarre, people saying 'oh you won't catch me there, living in a tent and paying for it' fine well don't then, no one's forcing you to but why do they feel the need to comment about it and bitch and moan about the people that do go and enjoy it.
I don't like fishing but I wouldn't go on a fishing thread and tell everyone who enjoys doing it how shit I think it is and they're wasters (not that I think that, by the way)

Just watching James set again. What a band.
It was special. Not going to lie, I got a little emotional during their set. I have had a bit of personal turmoil over the last few weeks and deep down I knew that I will probably never go back to the festival. Its a good job I had shades on, so my mates could not see my eyes :-D

wank decision making by bbc - in the year Putin invade Ukraine, DakhaBrakha set not featured on iPlayer when you may have thought it would be featured for so many reasons - piss-poor response from beeb comms people too
