Le Tour

Bang! Incredible decision-making in picking the wheels to follow.

There were shenanigans about 1k out with some barging but it looks like nothing that seems to have worried the commissaires.

Absolutely fantastic!

I must admit, I thought he’d had his chance, and I didn’t really expect him to do it.

At 39, and with so many young sprinters around, it shows what a great cyclist Mark is.

This year’s Tour has really been one for the history books, what with Biniam Girmay becoming the first black African to win a stage, and now, Mark Cavendish today.

Wow!

Bugger you know when you click on a thread and suddenly regret it. Was going to watch highlights later. Anyway wow well done Cav.

The way he won that I’m sure he’ll be pushing for another one - no one got close once he hit the front. Such a brilliant ride!

I couldn’t believe how "easily" he won it.

It was almost as if the others moved out of his way, but of course, they didn’t.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he wins two or three more, now that he has got the monkey off his back.

You watch the overhead and the way they’re bouncing of each other with 1km to go is just scary - these guys have massive kahunas to do what they do. Chapeau!!!

It’s scary just watching them.

What it must be like, to be in it, is beyond my imagination.
