Completely unfair to put Nunes in the same bracket as Phillips. Nunes was far closer to the level of a Bernardo/Rodri/Mahrez first season than Phillips first season
 
I wish to fuck that the club woul stop featuring Philips on all the American tour film. His beaming gurn pops up every five seconds like he is one of our favoured sons. I am sick of the nice guy legend, he is paid to play football at the best of his ability, to listen to the coaches and apply himself to performance improvements. That’s his side of the deal and he has failed miserably.
 
City will get a loan, someone will take him but think we’ll be subsidising.

Cancelo will end up back @ Barca, again we’ll be subsidising.

Nunes will be given another season to see what he can do, unless some other opportunity presents itself.
 
Loans are the only option as we presented the contracts which they signed.The contract will be on as Amortation on the books.The best we can hope for is some body pays what they are worth on the books.
At a guess Phillips 2 yrs left so 20 mill.Cancelo 18 months he will end up going for free.
Nunes we are stuck withas he has 4 yrs left.

Depends. On the expectations. The passing of time is in in itself not a change of circumstances. Also depends on how mucg time is left to pass.

If we recieve any money for the player we will have to give it straight to the player to compenaste for his contract.

No club will pay him what we do, and that's going to cost us 10s of millions.

Yeah. Alvarez who has come in and done a fantastic job in the main. Cost a third of KP and will go for a considerable sum.
KP was an England international, who has struggled from day one.
Looks nervous on the ball and had a disastrous loan spell at West ham.

If you knew nowt about football, watched these two and had to say which one was which?
One has moved over 7000 miles, doesn't speak the language and hasn't played in the league before, whilst the other has moved 40 miles and has played in the PL; you would say Alvarez was the home player.

I just think Phillips cannot play Pep football. Put him back in a traditional formation where he only has to defend and not think about the splitting pass through the midfield & he’d probably cope

It's only going to be a season loan again if any idiots want that deal. Can see him still being here in September tbqh rotting out of the matchday squad. What an absolutely shit signing this was, one of our worst ever and boy hasn't there been some
