apparently going to villa on loan?
He used to be a first choice international player. So…. Think he can be better than he has been since his shoulder injury. But, having said that, he’s not good enough for usHe cant run either or play under pressure with the ball?

Yep. Football has moved on after Pep came to England. Sadly Kalvin hasn’t followedThat was playing for England with a back 3 and two defensive wingbacks, plus Declan Rice in the side. He didn't have a lot of space to cover.
Different world playing for us.
You'd think though that he could suit some teams, but after what they've seen of him the last two years, why wouldnt they just go for somebody else?
Well yeah, that is true if you are talking of the abstract, but I was talking about this specific case, not the general concept of the passing of time. So had already taken into account the expectations towards Phillips, and the available time frame as a whole.Depends. On the expectations. The passing of time is in in itself not a change of circumstances. Also depends on how mucg time is left to pass.
The problem we have is getting out of the door because clubs will not want to pay anywhere near the reputed 150k per week that he's on now.If we can get £15m now we’d surely take it.
Another loan will mean another flop season and we’ll then agree to pay up his contract and he’ll leave for free.
VisionaryAccrington Stanley might take him.

He needs to get out of England and the spotlight in my opinion.the only way I see him coming back at all (to the level he had at leeds) is if he plays for a club thats destined to go down with literally zero pressure on him.
At the moment I get the feeling he would happily walk from football as long as we pay his contract. He needs to get out of England and the spotlight in my opinion.
Agreed. You get the sense that some footballers never loved the sport but were just very good at it, but he feels like a lad who would have played every chance he had growing up. Sad that his career has come to this.At the moment I get the feeling he would happily walk from football as long as we pay his contract.
His self confidence is destroyed, everyone witnessed that when he lost the ball on the edge of the area against Milan.Agreed. Wel, it doesn't look like he'd run.At the moment I get the feeling he would happily walk from football
