he did ok i suppose considering the amount of game time he actually gets.
i so want him to do well. won a few tackles lost a few but he always reminds me of someone whos won a competition to play 20 minutes for us.
hes never city quality but if he gets next 2 or 3 games and plays solid with at least some creativity then maybe
me and loads of other blues are wrong.

He is understudy to the player best in the world in that position. Kalvin is a good player, and I really hope he grasps this period to show his qualities.

I thought he did alright. Looked for the ball and kept it a few times with runs down the right channel. He’s no Rodri clearly, but he was fine today

Bruno G release clause £100M. Get him in next summer and sell Philips to lessen the blow. This guy is just uninspiring and so positionally erratic. For a pep 6 he looks nothing like one.
Because of the stick he's received since he's been here, a number of posters have now taken it upon themselves to go into overdrive defending him at every turn, regardless of what he does when on the pitch. You can't criticise him now without a backlash from a handful with their blinkers on.
He's slow, lethargic, off the pace, hides, doesn't make himself available often enough to receive the ball from the back line, isn't good with it in tight spaces when he does, makes too many wrong decisions. For whatever reason, he just does not work in our team, and this is exactly why Pep is reluctant to play him. No one, I repeat no one, expects him to be Rodri or close to Rodri.
If Kovacic is fit, he's gonna play.
