I reckon Pep will field a strong as possible team, he doesn’t like losing.

Should be at the home of the Champions against a team of their choice ....earn the right.

Paying off the incompetent FAs debts for that shithole shouldn't be laid on to us fans.

The national stadium should've been built in the Midlands twixt the M6/M42/M1.

The national training ground and hotel is in Burton upon Beer ffs !!

National stadium & National training centre 2.5 hours apart ....only the mutten heads at the FA could make that up .

Fuck the FA and the cheating bastards from StretSal.

Many would argue that playing the Community Shield in our national stadium in the capital is probably justified.

Well I certainly hope he doesn’t play gvardiol like he did in the cup final. Not gvardiols fault he was told to push up high leaving acres of space. Hope a lesson has been learnt by our maestro of a manager
 
Salford City head coach Karl Robinson has questioned the timing of the Community Shield.

The traditional curtain-raiser to the start of the Premier League season next week, sees Manchester City and Manchester United meet at Wembley in a 15:00 BST kick-off.

That is the same time as 11 fixtures on the opening day of the new League Two season, including Salford's home game with Port Vale.

"Who decided to put the Community Shield on at three o'clock on a Saturday when the EFL is kicking off?", Robinson asked on BBC Radio Manchester.

"The EFL starts. It's the bread and butter of our game. It is the oldest football organisation of leagues going and we decide when we need all the money in the world to kick off the Community Shield at three o'clock.

"That baffles me."

Could you please suspend your usual attitude towards friendlies and the charity shield tomorrow ? Nobody needs mins or a chance to play .Kalvin can have the afternoon, off the only thing that matters is that we beat the scum and we beat them well, that's all we ask tmrw that's it, it's that simple .

Being ready for the start of the league and battering them in that would be my preference. The charity shield is a useful game to build up to that, get everyone fit and ready, but not burnt out in what is a non event.
