It was where I was taken to look at toys for Xmas when I was very young.

That's the League Cup semi final 1st leg I think, 2-1 win with a late Frannie penalty? I ended up in the Scoreboard end among all the rags after getting a spare ticket off a rag at school. City got some stick as they'd jacked the prices up to nearly double the usual rate IIRC.

Used to love seeing the TV vans outside the ground, meant I could see the highlights later on. Long before the 24 / 7 coverage we can access now.

2 brothers who worked there were regulars in the pub I used. Volmax sold spares for most British cars 50% cheaper than the genuine parts. They even gave me a 10% discount whenever I went in there.

Seating in the North stand before it was rebuilt. I was to young to really remember what it looked like but always remember it as seating where as people often say it was a terrace. And it wrapped around to the main stand where as it was rebuilt as a shity box.

that is the platt lane end, the north stand was a terrace, used to be called the scoreboard end
