We know Pep doesn't want to work with Cancelo and I am assuming Cancelo does not want to work with Pep.
But Cancelo currently has nowhere to go and Pep has nowhere to send him.
Like a married couple not getting along, they might still have to share the same house but sleep in different bedrooms and eat their breakfast at differing times.
Pep/Txixi has only a few weeks to settle on their squad for the upcoming season. Cancelo/Perrone/ Kabore are players that do not look like they have an immediate future with us but sometimes its harder to lose players than it is to gain them.
Not sure what value Cancelo is but there is no way he's going to end up rotting in our reserves

He’s a liability as a defender and should be nowhere near the team.
 
Actually think he is a player we could use to spice things up but there's no sign of any rapprochement on either side so off he goes again.
 
Why are a so-called Gaint of the game Barcelona being allowed to take the piss out of City, They signed and paid for Dani Olmo when stating they don't have the money for Cancelo, There was a view to signing with the last 12-month loan with Cancelo then released him.

We all know what is going to happen, Barcelona will get Cancelo again for free on a 12-month loan, and then he is free to sign for them on a free transfer then Barcelona will slap a £500million buy out clause.

His contract isn't up for 3 years. They haven't bid coz they cant afford the obligation or fee City want.

But they can for Dani Olmo ? They know Cancelo will never play for City again under Pep, So they will put the begging bowl out and City bend over and let him go on loan to them again,

For a so-called Big club, They truly are cunts and will try anything to get a player for free, Maybe should play the same game and ask them for a player on loan in return

Yes, they want him more. Cancelo isnt a priority.

except he is not that great at defending and therefore he would not be at left fullback ahead of Ake or Gvardiol for me.
...better at going forward certainly than Ake and probably Gvardiol (though he showed real promise at points last season) but defensively is at times very weak...not the type of player to put his body on the line and a weak mentality as well (head goes when things arent going right)

Would rather get rid of him but for some strange reason nobody seems to want him (sarcasm)

Also takes too many chances with his passing going forward. Ake and Gvardiol keep the ball mostly and try and leave the creativity to those better at it than them. Cancelo doesn't. When it works its great, but the rest of time I think it winds Pep up because he'd rather he kept it simple and kept possession.

A player with bags of potential who is squandering that potential by being an utter dickhead and moron.

Players like that are ten a penny - just look at the rotating cast of fuckwits and hasbeens over in Trafford in the last decade.
