Oasis reunion

I reckon that I’ve seen them six times from 1996 - 2005. The Maine Road gig was a magical experience for a wide eyed fifteen year old. Easily in my top five gigs of all time. At the Etihad gig in 2005, they looked disinterested and just cantankerous with each other. There is no doubt in my mind that the songs have stood the test of time. I play in a covers band and we regularly get young lads in there early twenties asking for oasis tracks from the first two albums. My ten year old son wants me to take him to the Heaton Park gigs. Hope they get Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan White on board to complete the line up. Good luck to them.
Disinterested or uninterested? Huge difference.

Quick reminder that 'peak' Oasis were blown offstage by Prodigy at Knebworth 28 years ago.

The atmosphere will no doubt be fantastic at the 2025 shows, but I wouldn't expect Oasis' performances to be any better than a standard Rolling Stones 'going through the motions for money' tour.

I wouldn't believe any of that. I was there and it was relatively easy to get a ticket, just like when I saw them at Maine Road and Loch Lomond.

People are exceptionally gullible nowadays.

Oh ok, you got a ticket so will take your word over everyone elses.

Oh yes mate.

The roses was the soundtrack of my youth, Oasis was the soundtrack of me leaving the teenage years behind and starting my 20s, so many memories of football, nights out and falling in love.

The mullet may be thinning but the three stripes and the cagoule's are still going strong. :)

I need to be myself. I can’t be no one else.

:)

I got a ticket easily. So did the people I went with, most of whom went the following day.as well. Try to rewrite history as much as you want... I'm giving you facts.

2.6m applications is a gross exaggeration.

I do however think there'll be at least that many for 2025 now the hype machine has kicked in.
