The save from KdB's shot was top notch.
 
Proud to support this club. Outstanding commitment from the players. The football continues to be sheer joy to watch. I think the only weak link is Doku. Would take Bobb, Savvy or Jack all day long before Doku.

Could've/should've been 4-1at half time, 6-2 at full time.

As astonishing as it may seem we miss as many chances as we take.

I can still fit in my 98/99 home top, but that’s what the silver-fox escort market demands.

Good work today, I have a soft spot for the irons as I went quite a bit as a kid to the old Boleyn ground to watch city get spanked. But business is business.

All four - six, if you include Phil and Bernardo - wingers offer something different. And that includes Jérémy. He is fast, strong and direct.

And with his low centre of gravity, he is extremely hard to knock off the ball, which makes him extremely difficult to defend against.

He also works very hard, defensively, as they all do.

I love him, and there are very few wingers, if any, I’d swap him for.

Bit harsh on Doku. He has played far more football on the left for us and looks much more effective there, but he does his best wherever he’s asked to play. It’s going to be a long season and all players will play their part. I expect Grealish/Savinho to form a good tandem and maybe Doku/Bobb or even McAtee. Sometimes we will play two attacking wingers, sometimes one and a ‘pauser’ who stretches the play. Either way, I genuinely don’t think this squad has a weak link.

If anything, we’re missing a back-up for Erling, though considering we won the League, playing with a false nine, I’m not overly concerned.

If Pep and Txiki are happy with the squad, so am I.
