Class player. Love watching him play. A very sharp football brain, very good dribbler and an exquisite first touch. He'd fit in very well here.
 
For our 2nd striker option what are people's views on Depay as a free agent. I know he played for the rags and was shit there but he's done fine since. If his wages were reasonable I think it might be worth a punt?

Too much of an arrogant prick, I think. He's okay as a player. If he was a top player I'd expect we'd ignore his personality, but he isn't, so I don't think we would.

Saw a free players thing earlier with him in it, probably what you saw to suggest him and must admit I didn't think it was an immediately terrible idea to pick him up for a year. He's competent, can score goals and does the false 9 role well enough. we've got the space in the squad, if he were to accept reasonable wages relative to his status here there wouldn't be a strong reason not to.

I suspect his wage demands would be quite substantial though, he also has a dubious injury record and comes across as a right wanker. That's a hard trio to overlook.

saw him mentioned on a yt or podcast as a potential walker replacement awhile ago. Guy was sayin he probably needs another solid season at Ajax, but definitely one to watch.

We signed from a Ligue 2 via successful loan spell in La Liga. A player who has had good experience in a stronger league is the safer option.

It was tongue in cheel. Savinho never played for Troyes( just on their books) he played for Jong PSV in the dutch 2nd dividion, and that is where he grew up according to himself.
