PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They’re absolutely obsessed with liccle City. Proper mard arses. Greatest team the premier league has ever seen and they simply can’t handle it.

Not been on for a few days, so sorry if it has already been said, and put to bed but. Leicester City won their case on Thursday, while it is more like the Everton case than ours, it dropped a bomb on the PL. The PL biult an independent panel to look at their case, they chose not to look at all the evidence or dismissed it, which they can, just like our independent panel, the evidence was sufficient to appeal, where they won. This puts severe pressure on our panel, Precedence, Procedure, Terminology, so while the media claim it is just a loophole, which it maybe.
The Leicester CEO said they had "simply sought to ensure that the rules are applied based on how they are actually written".
Our lawyers will be wetting themselves with laughter, for example SB was on Talksport doing the reasoning for the Leicester case, and he raised the Mancini charges being nothing like the rules 2009 to 2013, which he stated were ` You need a contract with your manager, that was filled within 7 days`.
So while we have done nothing Leicester City may well have given the panel an excuse ( if they want it ) to drop all charges?

It's also amazing how many Rag and Dipper keyboard warriors are qualified accountants and solicitors specialising in sport too.

Maybe they hacked into the PL database, it’s not as if they haven’t done similar before.
 
I was re-reading the statement from city which they released after the PL announced the charges.

What I don’t understand is that there was wp extensive dialogue between the club and the PL.

Been out with a load of scousers from work tonight.. mix of red and blue.. and being fair the more rational variety

Their opinion is that there’s too many ‘charges’ for something not to stick. We’ll get done for something leaning towards the more minor charges but it will be no more than a fine or maybe a transfer ban for 1 or 2 windows

That is a double edged sword tho, there is the one way of thinking that your friends have and i can see the rationale behind that but there is also the flip side of the coin where you ever egg the pudding to the extent where you spread yourself so thinly over so many charges that it calls into question the veracity of any of the charges it just depends on what you want to believe.

Personally i will go with what i have always believed is that the pl knew fine well they had scant hope of making this stick and they hoped we would cut a deal when we didnt they went down plan b which was a plan to tarnish the club either way because as we all know its around 6 charges but multiple counts of each but 6 charges doesnt play well in the media but 115 charges plays fantastically just like winning the title 3 times on the spin is nice but 4 on the spin has alot more punch as with most things these days its all about optics, reality takes a backseat.
