PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Tbf, he only joined after all those events happened!
We won the 4th title after he joined I believe (if he joined Aug 23) but he never mentions anything we’ve achieved!! Many new members talk about our successes as well as the problems we’re experiencing

Naah. The press won't change the narrative if they don't want to. There has been a position for unbiased takes on all this for a year and a half and yet there is only one. Martin Samuel isn't much smarter than the other sports journalists I don't believe, yet there is no-one else out there putting over a balanced case. There is a reason for that. And it's nothing to do with City's approach, I don't think.
We are in agreement well up to a point they would have to report what Khaldoon or the panel etc say. So I don’t understand your first comment about you could write a piece I assume pro City saying ex coach ex ceo etc said etc who would these people be ? Who is on our side ? And why would the media write a piece like that you admit they won’t. They would have to make it up those sorts of people simple won’t support us

Did you go to:
The Wembley Gillingham game
The QPR Agueroooo game
the Aston Villa game when we came back from 2-0 down to win the keague
Wembley v rags in our treble year
Istanbul - (no comments from you about the transport issues)
West Ham game when we won PL for 4th time

If so , where are your celebratory comments? Strange that ….
Can I just say?
I Did

I actually am not as optimistic as most people here. I think we'll got done for some but not all charges. And I'm not referring to non-cooperation. I find it incredibly unlikely that they've dragged this on for as long as they have, and without dropping any charges, to not have high confidence some things will stick.
The lar in your username says all that is needed to know DIPPER ALERT DIPPER ALERT

City, City, what about City?..

F'kin sick of hearing this..

Breaches of financial rules they scream..!

OK, what does that actually mean ?

Rags.. a £billion pounds in debt and still spunking hundreds of millions on ex Ajax players, unchallenged..

Already failed FFP, minor breach apparently, whatever the fcuk that means.

The sad thing is that no one actually knows this because the spineless cunts in the media didn't have the balls to report it at the time..

£75 million pound advance from the PL to cover COVID and scruffy Jim's purchase of shares from the good guys, the Glazer's..

F'kin scandalous..!

Chelsea.. selling their own hotel to themselves and signing a ton of players on 9 year contracts..

F'kin scandalous..!

Dippers, spade in the ground at Stanley Park, £50 million pound grant to go towards FFP.

F'kin scandalous..!

Vila and Newcastle hamstrung with regards to investing in their team's to improve, grow and challenge for major honours..

F'kin scandalous..!

Leicester have just shown the PL up for the slimy set of corrupt fuckers that they are..

I sincerely hope that, not only do we wipe the f'kin floor with the PL regarding the jumped up, cobbled together at the last minute, even though apparently they had fkin 6 years to get their ducks in order charges that they have levied against us that we also RUIN a f'kin good few of the twats who have enjoyed a free rein, gobbing off at my club's expense over the past few years..

We, as fans have had to front up to verbal abuse and defend the club we love and stand firm..

Come on City, when we win our case against these jumped up charges, help your fans out and take one or two or more of these ***** down..

It might sound smalltime but I'm sure the majority of the 50000 plus fans that turn up every other week at home would have a warm glow, knowing that the likes of Delaney, Herbert, Jordan, f'kin Goldbridge, Keys, Gray and a multitude of other f'kin twats who have had too much to say have been hurt financially.. !

If I was in charge, I'd make it my mission to make it happen 100%…!

I'm not sure that this sounds much like Dylan Thomas, or any decent poetry, but AI seems to think we need not worry. (Would Harris or Masters asking the same get a different answer?) I've punctuated it and sorted it into stanzas, but not touched the words.

In the silent streets of the Etihad,
Where sky-blue dreams collide with dusk,
A whispering wind of shadows falls.
On fields where glory once wore a crown.
The echoes of old, the thunder's rustle,
Roar within the cavernous halls.

115 murmurings, like ancient grievances,
Stir in the hearts of those who cherish
The dance of ball and boot, the grace,
The long night grappling with dawn’s light.
Oh, City, beloved, in triumph bathed,
Now swayed by whispers, fate’s stern face.

Under the moon, the howls grow louder,
The specter of justice breathes its chill.
In the fog-bound alleys, the faithful wander,
Wondering if the gods are still.
Is it the fall of a titan, the reckoning’s hour,
Or merely a tempest, a fleeting thrill?

Let not the light wane, nor spirits falter,
For in the heart of tempest's wail
Resides the courage to rebuild, alter,
To write anew the hero's tale.
Through the night, to the dawn unshaken,
Rise, City, rise, the truth prevail.

In the cauldron of the Etihad,
Where shadows mingle with the roar,
In the blue we trust, undaunted, glad,
To face the storm and seek the shore.
For in the end, beneath the heavens,
Only the stars of truth endure.

Actually, I think ChatGPT missed the Dylan Thomas bit.

This time, just a pastiche of Do Not Go Gentle! This really is crap.

The Charges of Sky Blue

Do not go gentle into that dark night,
Rage, rage against the claims of financial blight.
The Etihad hums with whispers and songs,
Manchester City, accused of endless wrongs.

Under the twilight of a sky blue haze,
Where titles glistened in the morning’s praise,
The ledger’s ink, a shadowed trail did weave,
Of spend and splendor, skeptics disbelieve.

Wise men, their pens dipped in the ink of strife,
Fury, their breath, they seek to cut the life
Of triumphs carved on hallowed, grassy fields,
With murmurs of the law, their gavel wields.

Wild men, who caught and sang the blues in flight,
And learned too late, their accounts held too tight,
The balance sheet, a siren’s call to war,
With each goal scored, another sin to score.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be right,
Accusing tongues, their tales of taint did tell,
In court’s cold light, their judgments fell.

And you, my Sky Blues, there on your pinnacle,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce miracles.
Do not go gentle into that dark night,
Rage, rage against the claims of financial blight.

Come on mate, you know I’ll defend someone if there’s an unjustifiable pile on, including many opposition fans, but even I didn’t post in such strident terms when I first joined the board, and to do so understandably invites scrutiny.

Their first post was to say they thought the club would be found guilty of some of the principal charges without supplying any supporting rationale other than a gut feeling. That’s surely worthy of suspicion.

Even if a blue, what a way to introduce yourself. Your first instinct, after waiting a year to consider what to write, is to try and bring the mood down based in your own neuroses. Imagine someone turning up to a party and the first thing they want to talk about to everyone they meet is humanity’s inevitable march to self-destruction. At least engage in a bit of small-talk first ffs. Talk about selfish.

Why did I read that in a Richard Burton voice?
Who is this Chat GPT dude? Why does he have a handle like a rapper when his poetry is almost classic in style?
