Needed Sinners wrist to be injured, that was Drapers chance.
Draper played really well that 2nd set, but unless Sinner gets injured - Its all over/

Draper seems to be about the same level as Fritz.

Sinner’s defence is really good and so you need power to beat him, which neither have enough of.

Guess that’s why Sinner is number 1.
Sinner is a cool customer deserves to win the title he has been superb for most of this year

Went to see Argentina v Finland in the Davis Cup at the Arena yesterday.

Brilliant atmosphere, some top quality tennis - seeing two top-40 players in Etcheverry and Cerundolo was superb. We paid £10 for the tickets and it was an absolute bargain.

Shame on the BBC for only showing the matches involving GB. In addition to those mentioned above, you also have Shapavalov and Auger-Alliasime representing Canada. It’s not often we get to see this level of player in the UK, so why not at least show it?

Clearly a mental problem.

I was puzzled again as to why she had quit, She said in the earlier round it troubled her so why not just pull out of the tournament, Ranking points maybe, money maybe, But it flagged her mental state again as a quitter.

She can not keep going on without fire and desire, Playing through the pain barrier is what champions are made of and all have in their locker when in trouble with an injury, Time is up Emma, She will never be a winner again

What’s the obsession on here with Emma Raducanu?

Loads of great tennis week in, week out and it barely gets a mention. As soon as something happens with Raducanu, people are all over it.

Raducanu had a fabulous two weeks where she took advantage of a weaker, Covid-wrecked field and won a Grand Slam. Good luck to her and she’ll be able to claim she’s done something that very few post-war British tennis players have done but she’ll never win anything big again.
