Nicoló Barella

NOT for sale, according to Romano.

Paqueta and Barella not options. Seems like it’s Eze or nothing.

Feel like city will go with what they’ve got and look in January/summer again.

Reports this morning that we might leave it and try again in January for Paqueta if cleared.

Barella doesn't play in the same position as Paqueta but he is a much better player and would be amazing lining up for CIty.
Same as Eze and Nunes are different players. Seems we want 2 different midfielders. Whether we want both this window is another matter. It seems we aren’t bothered if we only get one which type we get first though-to me

Whats left of the football romantic in me actually wants Barella to be one of those italians that never leaves home. And I think if it was up to him that is exactly what he wants. Especially now that italian football seems to have started to (very slowly) climb back towards being a competetive league worth watching for the neutral.

Also between the Mancini link, their relative class of their fanbase around the CL final, and their classy message to Rodri this week, I quite rate Inter.

That said, absolute monster of a midfielder, and If he ever decides to play for a top team outside Italy I don't want to see him for anyone else than us

£70m is being quoted in today's paper as the amount Inter wants to sell his guy.
Very good signing if we can pull this deal off.

Better suited for the KDB role in my opinion.

Considering how many wonderful players we've had from different places around the world, there's a real lack of Italian names. Zola, Vialli, Di Canio and at a push Jorginho. Would be lovely to see him at the club, but I just can't see him moving from Inter, especially to an English club.

Need to get Balotelli in his ear telling him that he can set fireworks off inside in England.
