Exactly this, The ref needs to take charge of the situation and also book those players who are clearly simulating injury in order to slow the game down.

Refs have rightly booked Savinho for simulation in order to try and gain penalties/fouls , but feigning injury is also worthy of bookings.

In our recent game it was Martinelli , I think, who was fiening injury but got up as soon as the ref played on. Blatant cheating - nothing done.
