He is a generational talent, the elite clubs will do everything to get him but sadly I think we will be 3rd in his list with Madrid and Bayern at the top.

Don’t know if we want him but if we do unless you know the lad and what he wants like we did with Mbappe ,Bellingham or KDB and Haaland there’s no way of knowing.

Reports and lot's of them that he wants to stay in Germany ideally, Bayern bound for me, which may mean we have a very good chance of Musiala.

Let’s be honest, we won’t go as big as it needs for Wirtz or Musiala, £120m minimum on each of them is areas we just don’t go to.

I honestly think the "City tax" & the constant grief we're in with UEFA & the PL has stunted any ambitions we've had of going really big.

We're nowhere near the world record fee paid for a player or the highest wage, but most clubs & fans still attribute the ruination of football to "oil rich" Manchester City.

It's quite bizarre really...
 
We have the money and can offer everything a top player could want from a sporting perspective.
We cannot offer the weather.
We cannot offer a place in a player's home country.

For the talent and age it's a realistic price, KDB cost 55m 9 years ago, with football inflation and normal inflation it's a fair price.

The guy is a generational talent and it's not as we have to earn that cash, it's dodgy, dirty oil money.
