Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

He was actually one of the better referee's (which I appreciate isn't saying much), and I'm not sure he was actually 'binned off'. I think he'd just had enough of the way it was going, and reading between the lines he was probably right to go when he did.
I have been to a couple of referees meetings with Keith. Honestly, he is very bitter that pgmol went for Riley over him. He was probably far too honest in his assessment of the batch of referees at the time

And therin lies the problem. "Too honest" for the PGMOL.

Tells you everything you need to know about the Premier League.

EDIT: Just seen that the goal was disallowed on the pitch and that Attwell recommended an on-field review to give us the goal. Hence Kavanagh making the VAR signal before sending it back for the kick off. Sky's coverage was insanely poor in that case!!!

They were moaning about the Nunes tackle, before the corners which I thought was fair, got the ball.

Thank god we had the balls a ref backed his decision.

Apparently Assistant Ref flagged, so VAR recommended overturn, confirmed by ref. In that scenario, the system worked perfectly. No way Assistant Ref can judge the non-interference, so needed VAR intervention.
