Watched Reagan last night. Very dull (no murders, nudity or space aliens etc). Sentimental portrayal, ….too sentimental and too long. Good performance from Quaid to be fair.
5/10 at best.

Oh my god what have I just watched? Bloody bonkers. Visually beautiful and fun in parts, but my is it weird. I'm no prude either, but I thought the amount of sex in it spoilt it somewhat.
Still can't decide if I liked it or not.

Have you seen “Kinds of Kindness”? Even more bonkers! Currently half way through it, taking a break before attempting the second half…

It's definitely much much bigger in America than here. Although it not my absolute favourite Christmas film (that goes to Home Alone, followed by Its a Wonderful Life) it however does completely nail what it felt like to be a kid at Christmas wanting a specific toy. You seen A Christmas Story Christmas? Obviously not as good but the nostalgia is awesome.

Love that film.

I remember the kid in that was in a film called The Dirt Bike Kid in the 80s. I loved it at the time but it'd probably be really bad to watch now. Oh and he was in Russkies too (with Joaquin Phoenix), Again, a terrible film that I must have watched about 50 times as a kid.
