Is the FA Cup becoming boring

59 mate. No mobile phones or internet and Piccadilly radio didn't broadcast to Southern France. Didn't have a telly either

IT'S A GOAL!!

Seeing as pundits are saying the CL is becoming boring, is the FA Cup becoming boring to with the same finalists as last season ?

;)
Most pundits know the square root of fuck all. Those who do know are holding down managerial jobs at different levels with differing levels of success, but come FA Cup day they will be doing their damnedest to get a win. It is fashionable to come up with the stuff Gary Garbage spouts. Every syllable about a football game has been spewing out of their mouths for the last ten years ad nauseam, and so they need to come up with something fresh - City is boring, the CL is boring, and now they turn their diminishing spotlight on the FA Cup. Thank God remotes have a mute button.

If City win the FA Cup:

IS THE MAGIC OF THE WORLD’S MOST PRESTIGIOUS CUP COMPETITION GONE FOR GOOD?

If United win the FA Cup:

IS THE MAGIC OF THE WORLD’S MOST PRESTIGIOUS CUP COMPETITION BACK FOR GOOD?

Good on Hells Bells.

We could do with a 'Black Flag' protest across all clubs in support of preserving the traditions of the FA Cup......
no seeding
replays
Semis @ neutral grounds.
Final only @ Brent.

Get yer flags out for the lads, where's 1894 ??

I presumed that this thread was talking about the rags games being shown on every round of the competition irrespective of who they play.

But apparently not,but more that the mardarsed and greedy tv companies wanting to show the shite in order to monetarise their screening to the billions of knownowt, armchair braindead cunts who alledge to support the shite.

Anyway carry on.........................................because cunts are always going to be cunts.

There’s a whole host of reasons why the FA Cup isn’t the competition it once was. Undoubtedly the Champions League has played a small part in that. But I think the financial rewards of the Premier League plays a lot larger part.

There was a time when clubs got in trouble for fielding weakened sides in the league, so they could absolutely maximise their chances of extending an FA Cup run.

Now it’s far more likely to be the other way round.

The FA cup is still the cup to win if you're old enough to remember that football is about tradition, some of our fans have become arrogant like the rags under the GPC if that's what they genuinely think.

When someone turns the lights out and capitalism and profit has run its course the FA cup will be stood there like it always has done.

The best thing about the FA cup is the early rounds when your local team makes it through the first round proper, gets on Tele and some cash to keep them going.

The beauty of the competition is those televised ties. The scum started the disrespect of the completion and other so called big clubs followed by their team selections.

I'm glad as a club we've done our best to respect it with the teams we've put out under Pep compared to others.

It's the oldest club cup competition in the world and people want to give it up for a mickey mouse cup that changes its shirt every 10 years.

Just shows how far football has slithered into the gutter mate.

I love it but you know it isn't the same anymore when even lower league sides put out weak teams, to concentrate on the league position.
