Who's Matt Scott?

Just Googled it. Is he a sports journalist?

Well that’s very debatable Malg he used to be before his head went now he’s gone all Magic Hat and reinvented himself as an analyst on Twitter, I kind of like his nonsense as it’s proof that the Arsenal fan base has blown a gasket that’s why I asked the only Gooner who spends any amount of time on this hallowed forum his thoughts.

I genuinely think that a full strength Arsenal beats a full strength Liverpool these days, four times out of five at least. Unfortunately, I fear that's not going to happen tomorrow at the Emirates. Draw is just about the best we can hope for. If Arsenal lose, I think it puts them at a very serious disadvantage, absurd as it sounds to say when we're still only in October. Seven points behind Liverpool and still to go to Anfield, and six behind us. These days, with the consistency of the top three, those are serious amounts of points to claw back.

I want an Arsenal win tomorrow.
I want a liverpool win, or if not that, a draw.
We need to get arsenal out of it and leave it as a race between ourselves and liverpool.
I think we are better than liverpool and will beat them in a 2 horse race.
I'd be less confident taking on arsenal. The sooner arsenal are no longer a danger, the better.

Arsenal winning without Odegaard (their best midfielder), Saliba (their best defender), and possibly Saka (their best attacker) would only stoke the fire in their bellies and galvanize them. Trust me, we do not want that. We want them deflated and hopeless. Hopefully, Chelsea and Newcastle can take some points off them. I would like a nice gap between us and them by international break.

I do not want a three-horse race. Given that we have injuries to key players, struggle to finish our chances, have a midfield that can be easily overrun, and concede too easily, a three-horse race wouldn’t do us any favours.

I’m sure Pep is working on something to fix our issues. I just hope we don’t drop too many points until he does.

Personally, I’d be happy with a draw, but Liverpool will likely want to capitalise on Arsenal's frailties and injuries. Lets hope Villa can keep Liverpool to a draw.

I would prefer to go up against Arsenal. Liverpool will win the majority of their home games and have a squad to get results in all competitions. Arsenal don't. When it hits the CL knockouts alongside the PL they'll fold.

The dippers can rotate their front three and still be a very good side. We will find the big games tough to win without Rodri.

We’re finding a lot of games tough without Roders

It’s not about them, it’s about us. We concentrate on City & we do it.
