The Conservative Party

where's Kwarteng now a days ?

Hovering ....... in the misama that surround their shit show. Imagine this from a decent Party/Govt. You realise its a loss its about minimising the losses. FAIL. New Govt announces timetable so you can react to help yourself. You go for a convoluted electoral system which means the new Govt has a budget timetabled but you decide to go soul searching which means a new leader will be announced 2 days after the budget

Result - a leader with 2 days left has the humiliation of responding to the Govt budget statement doubtless being heckled that everything that was just announced was fixing his problems ( doubt he will hang around for £80kpa for more of that ) then when its all in place a new leader has to fix his shadow cabinet and a new shadow chancellor has no formal chance to response and is already on the back foot.

The clownshow continues

if they could not see it coming and prepare accordingly that tells you why they are stuck. The 2019 intake of Tories thought they had an automatic ticket to a 4 term ride on the gravy train

It can't be that bad, as he says he wants to stand as an MP again!

Do these cunts not see what is happening in this country, to their constituents?

Don’t they get a couple of months full pay, which equates to more than twice as much as a pensioner gets, or over 6 months pay for those on minimum wage.

Does anybody feel an ounce of pity for these fuckers?

It was two I think but they doubled it to 4 months just before the election - for some the message was getting through clearly

Fucking hell, nothing like lining your own pockets, knowing that there was a very good chance that they were on their bikes. That’s more than a years wage for somebody on minimum wage.

He obviously wants to be made redundant again .... it cant be that bad.

It's gold plated. There's not many redundancy payouts as good as that. And an MP could run in a by-election a few months down the line and keep all of it.

Compared to statutory redundancy pay of a week per year of service up to a maximum of 12 weeks.

What kind of entitled **** can say that with a straight face?

Its almost as if he has something to hide

The Financial Times submitted a freedom of information request relating to the claimed £22bn black hole, asking for a full breakdown, and the Treasury promptly refused.

Strange that the government should be so reticent to provide these details, given the number of times they’ve referenced the £22bn figure and the amount of political capital they are trying to generate from it.
