It was Cov in the League cup we went on to the 74 final lost to Wolves.
I came home from school to find a note off my dad, who was very ahead of his time by always leaving early (though he was ill, so did have an excuse) that read (I think) we were losing (possibly drawing?) ((too many brackets in this post)) but I think I heard a goal roar on the way back to the car

I'm sure they were switched on the following season 64/65,our first home game was midweek v Leyton Orient won 6-0 sat in the old Platt lane I made the mistake of looking into the lights and had a white spot for about 5 minutes in my vision, they we're facking strong.
I was in the Platt Lane that night too. Little did I know that this big early season win would be the highlight of a dreadful season. 5 days later City lost the return game at Brisbane Road 3-4.

Give over man.

My first and only thought reading that is the media never fooking learn.
Malfunctioning and yet we are 2 points behind in second place with Saturdays loss being our first in 33 matches. They have had that article ready for a long time.

Which ones of you lot are Foggy, Cleggy and Compo?

Strange that SSN have to call on an ex rag in Australia to comment on the rags game. Very strange.

I`m positive that was a League Cup game and we played Plymouth in the semi final and that too was a midweek afternoon game.
Coventry League Cup replay was definitely an afternoon KO as I had to miss the game. The Plymouth semi-final was an evening match using a generator to power the floodlights, the generator was behind the North Stand.
