Totally true,as soon as most of the people in the UK realise we are now an insignificant little island the better for everyone.

The current young generation know nothing about the empire and do not hark back to a mythical golden age. We are not, however, insignificant in that we still have a large economy, a good deal of soft power and the advantages of the English language. Whether we will use them or continue to drift relatively downwards is the question.

He wants something and sees an opportunity, the AI and process automation he can introduce to the American economy is going to cause a slow car crash in the labour market and it seems world leaders are sleep walking into it. It won’t be immigrants taking jobs it will be our air fryers.
