Nope, this is different. Last season we had top class players playing below par for periods early on. This year we have average class players playing their average game.

Mojo is gone with this crew at the moment. It will take a turn around of carl foggerty donut proportions to see us lift the premier league trophy this season.

Agreed but not many win the league by having a four game win less run.....never happened in Peps tenure. Just think, the treble, the charges, the fact we've tried to be soooo net spend friendly...all add up to what could be a tough battle for top 4 /5 ...may have to just rest players up and go for chumps league
We need strenghening in January , Nunes , Kovacic and Phillips not up to our standard and have contributed next to f*ck all , none of them have any goal threat , whilst we lost 30 goals a season with Mahrez and Gundo letting them leave , and Kev usually chips in with a few.
In previous seasons i could see our players being capable of stringing a dozen wins together to blow our competitors away , but i do not see it this season , hope i am proven wrong.
If we cant win it, would like to see Villa do it , there fans are knobs but the lesser of three evils , the Dippers and Goons winning a singular title would be insufferable.
We just don’t have the strength in depth this season we had the last few seasons . Losing Gundogan and Mahrez and having KDB injured has left us miles short of the quality required. Plus a diabolical summer transfer window has left us where we are tonight. It can change though we have been there before but I am less optimistic now than for a long time .
This is too true, you can't let multiple big players and big influences leave in one season. Doesn't work. Also the replacements are shite.

No hunger on the pitch to even compete atm which wasn’t there last season and the new players are not on the level of players such as gundo and Mahrez . Putting Alveraz in midfield week in week out is totally fucking us and I don’t care if pep is the greatest we’ve ever had because he needs calling out on this . Also I have a feeling Haaland will be gone in the summer as since the back end of last season he has fell off a cliff but he will still goals in bunches to hide this . It’s early doors in the season but we have got massive problems
