Very decent on the ball and showed remarkable composure but as soon as we were on the back foot he showed what he is, a raw, young CB in a struggling team.

Like the look of the kid. Thrown into the deep end but put up a fairly mature performance.

Just a shame he hasn't got a win yet.

I think he's look good on the ball as, very composed.

He's had an injured Akanji and a 21 year old who has been playing LB, would of liked him to be next to Dias

Hopefully this lad will be around for a long time. No one can knock his contribution yesterday, he did his best in a makeshift defence. One player who can hold his head high after yesterday’s result.

Problem yesterday was that walker didn't trust him. Their goal when walker was in the wrong position was because walker was trying to cover for the young lad.
Maybe he needs to tell walker to concentrate on his own game.

Nice to know we have an option deep in the ranks who can come in and do a good job if Akanji, Dias, and Gvardiol all stay fit and the team's in better form.

We have problems in central defense and defensive midfield. I'm not smart as Pep or a rocket scientist but somehow I don't think a striker/ winger is the answer.

I get your point but the wider point is that James doesn't get a shot even if the rest of the squad is suffering from fucking ebola.

Absolutely this. He did well enough and Walker should do his own job first. Walker should have got out there to block the cross.

Whoever is the backup behind Erling is gonna be that guy.

We had to sell Julian because of that exact scenario.. and maybe McAtee, and maybe the next guy and even the next.

It is what it is.. Haaland is gonna start unless he's not able to.

Where would we even be this season without Haaland's goals? A terrifying thought!

I actually agree with you, but when plan A isn't working we need a plan B and we don't seem to have one. It's time to blood him for real and see how he does.

We are playing him and Lewis but leaving James on the bench, he'll be off as soon as he gets a decent offer.
Do you mean McActee? Didn't I read somewhere, that he's had the sum total of one minute in the premier league this season? How is that with our midfield? I think he got some minutes v spurs in the league cup but cannot remember any other time?

Yes McAtee, I get the feeling that unless the team bus breaks down and there is a tropical disease epidemic he isn't getting a proper shot even though he's done the loans and bench sitting stint.

There is a solid city player in there for the future.

Currently just lacking experience, thats why he is making some mistakes.

But he has a decent frame and speed for his age already.

Hopefully next year he can be a nice sub defender to play the cup games, best way to get these young guys in.
