We need a win, 6 in row is a lot worse than 5 in a row.

Unlikely we will beat Liverpool. Imagine 7 in a row. The Pep out brigade will start clearing their throughts
We can't afford to risk any more players who aren't match fit to start games to stop us getting beat 6 in a row, makes more sense to lose with kids playing than established first steamers who aren't fit enough or out of form.

And anyone in the Pep out brigade for losing 5 games in a row is an idiot. He's a genius but he still cannot turn water into wine.

We've got to win at Anfield really, but after the result in Lisbon this feels like a must win too with Juventus, PSG and Club Brugge still to play. Puts us in a great position if we win, puts an end to the losing run and gives us some confidence before we go to Anfield.

There have been glimpses of what we can do. But we've not put a performance together over 90 minutes in a long time. It's not just down to players being unfit or playing with injuries - that's certainly been part of it but we were all over Spurs for the first 10 minutes or so and then completely lost the plot. The press is all over the place and leaving us exposed. Our finishing is awful. Our passing is awful. We're making mistakes.

The team need a rocket and they need to go to Anfield with a win under their belt.

Given that we are far from our best against a team who have only lost once in the league this season, some of the Betfair odds seem very attractive. City1-3 Fey at 100/1 for example. For the optimists, City 3-3 Fey at 66/1 also good odds. At least I will be rich if we don't win.

Can’t take anything for granted as it is now. I will just be happy with a win no matter how or who the opponent is. And than move on to the next.

I’m sure Pep, his staff and the players available know the importance to gain self confidence by winning games. It would give me some confidence for sure …

Nothing else to say really.

I just want to see a different central midfield tonight. Nunes in the holding role or something, partnered by Gvardiol or even Grealish. It can't be any worse than playing Gundogan at the moment, who is getting bypassed far too easily when the opposition has the ball. Bernardo and Lewis both badly need a rest as well - they've been run into the ground over the last few weeks.

Ortega
Walker, Akanji, Ake
Nunes, Gvardiol
Savinho, De Bruyne, Foden, Grealish
Haaland

Tell Gvardiol to stay behind the halfway line for the entire game and see how we go. Surely at the Etihad that kind of line-up is enough to get past Feyenoord? Because while we're incredibly leaky at the back, we are still creating chances and looking dangerous going forward. That was part of what was so perplexing about the Spurs game - we could have easily scored a couple and made it a different game.

Hopefully more game time for some of the rustler players, no further injuries, 3 points, and some much needed restoration of confidence before Anfield.
I'm not asking for too much !

Some of these then ? [emoji1783]

If stones is out maybe tonight would be a good time to try gvardiol in the dm role? Ake can go into lb with Dias as CB Depending on fitness.

Kev and Jack need to be starting games to get fitness.

Time we go back to being hard to beat and utilise the out and out wingers when needed.
