So called sports media in this country are drowning in their own jizz declaring City's reign is over.

Naturally 5 live world phone in have neglected to bring in their semi regular city contributor and have a rag spouting bollocks about us being relegated.
I'm so glad you brought this up. I am fuming about this show (fuming enhanced by lots of cider).
Agree with everything you've said. I'll also add that, when talking about a caller's suggestion that City's "demise/fallen empire!" could be due to the ongoing legal case, Presenter Dotun Adenayo used his broadcasting skills and presenter control/licence to segway into a little anecdote. When travelling in Jamaica he stated to his girlfriend's brother that a (presumably wealthy and guilty) rapper on trial for rape would be found guilty. The brother replied that he doubted it as anyone with money or power never gets convicted (because of the legal resources they can access?).
He then immediately stated that City are of course quite at liberty to defend themselves.
Either I'm pissed and paranoid or I'm rightly pissed off that he just similied (?) City and guilty rapists.

Sounds like the story of numerous BBC presenters to me.

The daily Telegraph it seems has an entire Sports Department purely staffed by rabid anti City hacks ( I cannot use the term journalists ) as it would be an affront to the few in that profession worthy of the name.
No doubt we provide free sandwiches and bubbly for them at our press conferences before they scuttle off to pen their bile .

I did wonder if that was his bitter Gooner side coming out? Couldn't believe it myself when he said it.

Paul Sarahs is on there occasionally, he's a blue who used to (possibly still does) post on here. Been known to put both him and vickery back in their boxes when needed. No blues rang in when I was listening. A couple of rags did though...I was tempted mind.

BBC breakfast @ 8:30 North West, regular presenter telling the people that Manchester City playing tonight in chumps league then highlights the fact that we have lost 5 in a row, I don't need reminding of this thank you very much. Switch to 800 and BBC Wales mentions Wrexham,Cardiff and Swansea all good with no agenda. No wonder I am starting to pick up some Welsh. Bora da everyone.

After we win tonight you won't find a match report in the media for rocking horse shit

Let them talk, we will be back.
Probably not this season, but next year or the year after that, we'll be back and they won't have the excuse of 115 to cry about when we become champions again

I think it will be quicker than that, City will go on a run no doubt about that but I think they will just miss out and we will all point to this period as to when it was lost. Way too much panic on here.

Anyone think these comments should be taken down by the BBC because they don’t.

•They cheated

•I am glad them stinking, deceitful, corrupt Arab team is now going downhill
They came here flashing their cash and expected to steamroll every competition.

•They are corrupt and should be thrown out of the league.

Just a sample of some which I reported and they’re happy to keep. But my comment about not taking a post seriously was deemed “off topic”.
When Pep signed a contract extension a few days ago I went to the BBC website to see the latest news - I noticed that they had a HYS and seeing though I'd got to the report pretty early, there were only 14 comments, I went through them - they were full of rags and dippers talking about oil money, cheats, state owned etc so I put my comment on which was "There's a lot of bitter lemons on here today" - the comment was getting a lot of positive ups from the City fans going on the site but when I went back later it had been removed, the email they sent gave a list of reasons for its removal but none of them seemed relevant.

I called Stone "a clown" and got moderated/removed.

Apparently it's against the bbc rules but having a newsreader who is a confirmed nonce and a predator such a Saville employed for years is not.

The good old BBC.

Take it for what it is. A city hating outlet based in Salford
It’s the one area that Pep and the club could learn from Ferguson. If this shit was flying about regarding the rags in his day, there’d be no UK journalists at his press conferences!!
