He's had an abysmal couple of games, but he's not the only one - just the worst offender.
Still he is not a wet behind the ears either. I am not singling him out either Akanji did give a little warning with a lapse in concentration as well. I even joked about forgetting the post match Fondue in the match thread.

Made some horrible errors tonight but couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. He’s still a young lad and there was no sign of a captain putting an arm around him after the first or second error. Sums us up at present

Yep, like the lack of leadership is startling.

Kev came on and hung Simpson Pusey out to dry, whilst our captain probably fucked off early to shag another slag behind his family's back

He looks shot to bits. Pep sitting there with his head in his hands after the mistake for 3-1 can’t have helped his confidence either. Wtf is going on at the minute?

It looked to me like Pep was sarcastically applauding after the second goal as well.

How on earth is he at fault for anything but the first goal?

He is our best creator and second best goalscorer this season so needs to playing every single game he is fit, mistakes happen.

I said a month ago he needs a Kompany like partner alongside him to build his confidence and experience . He is OK going forward down the left but gets totally exposed as a left sided defender. He cost us the Cup Final and many games since -his confidence will soon be shot. He looks just as bad as he did in the late stages of the World Cup after rave reviews early on.

Gave a stupid pass to one of our players who was marked by two Feyenoord players to gift them the ball and couldn't stop the cross from coming in, Ederson shouldn't have allowed the ball to go past him but it was all started by another stupid decision from Gvardiol.

But it's not his positioning at LB or some winger burning him that I'm worried about, it's these brainfarts that no should make even out of position, there is no excuse for them.

Sorry but he leaves a winger unmarked . When he does go towards them in the corner they just pass or run past him into our box and its ending up with goal after goal and that's before you add in the unforced errors.

I doubt playing him in this position will improve him because he has no pace and turns like a slowest tank. It's wishful thinking to believe he'll become a world-class wing-back, left-back, or left-side defender, as Pep hoped. The same mistakes have been repeated since the FA Cup final, with every opponent continuing to exploit the same pattern to attack our weakest flank. Scoring a few goals here and there doesn’t make him the best left-back or a classy defender at all!

Yes but that's on Pep since he's not a natural LB. the unforced errors though are not acceptable.

Played way too many games, seems like his body can handle it but not his mind
Agree. He’s making mental mistakes. It’s killing us but unless Dias can play I don’t see how gvardiol doesn’t. But I agree he needs a break. Same with a few of the other to be fair but we are bare bones

Had a shocker today, and a poor few weeks, but other than that he has been our best player this season. Needs a rest, big time.
