Pep wanted him, badly enough to break transfer records and waited several weeks for him to sign. It wasn't for his goal scoring was it.

I would be amazed if there aren’t senior people at the club (including Pep) who didn’t think that Jack would kick on goals and assists wise in a City shirt. You don’t go from Sane and Sterling offering G/A aplenty, to someone you don’t believe can offer up similar numbers and pay £100m for the privilege. You could say it was poor recruitment/foresight based on what he had done at Villa and there may be an element of truth to that but a lot of this is on Jack. Theres been countless wide men in the PL over the years, many with a fraction of his ability, who have managed to consistently find the back of the net, so there are no excuses for him. These days he seems more concerned with winning free kicks, than he does football matches. Imagine not scoring in a year in this side.

Time for Jack to step up to the plate, his play is very predictable, his goals and assists are way behind where they should be, needs to start being more positive and influencing games, he's one of the senior players.

A lot of stats get thrown around these days. Some of them you find strange. This one though, completely blows my mind. How the fuck is it even possible? I reckon you could pick any professional footballer in the world, stick them LW every week in this City side and I would be amazed if any of them would go a whole year without scoring. Something as simple as attacking the far post in this side, would get you 2 or 3 tap-ins over the course of a season.

Hardly a shock if you watch him "shoot", city's first £100million signing and he's been shite aside from a few half decent performances in the second half of the treble season, but hey he holds the ball well and erm erm.......,

Too slow. Too crab-like with short, sideways/backwards passing. Very little creativity. Look at his goal assists stats.

In short, you wouldn’t unless we get totally desperate with injuries and loss of form.
